Solar Street Lighting System is an ideal lighting system for the illumination of streets & squares and cross roads located in areas that are not connected to the power grid.
The standalone solar photovoltaic street lighting system comprises of a Solar PV module for battery charging, rechargeable lead acid battery for storage, Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) or Light Emitting Diodes (LED’s) as light source, suitable electronic control circuits for the operation of the lamp and safe guard to the battery charging & discharging and hard-ware like pole, battery box etc. for fixing of these sub systems
Aditya street lighting System is designed for either with automatic dusk to dawn operation or with a pre-set timer. The street light luminary is designed for operation in all weather conditions. The outdoor lighting system is equipped with a high efficiency electronic inverter and charge controller with deep discharge, over charge and lightning protections to enhance the battery life..

Details of the system
The Solar Street Lighting Systems mainly comprises of the following parts:

Solar Photovoltaic Modules
  This is the main part of the system. This device produces electricity from Sun. The rated capacity of this module is 12V 75Wp. This is made up of Multi/Mono-crystalline Silicon Cells which have the property of converting the Sun light into DC power. The size of this module is 1200 x 530mm and after packing the dimensions of one module will be 1230 x 550 mm. This module comes with a warranty of ten years and has an expected life of 25-30 years.

Long Life Low Maintenance Tubular Batteries
 

The DC power generated from the Solar Photovoltaic Module is stored in the batteries for usage of this power at the time of night to glow the CFL lamp. The rated capacity of this battery is 12V 75Ah. These batteries are made in such a way that it has a long life and low maintenance. This battery comes with a warranty of one years and the expected life is 5-7 years. This has a battery box along with it which is installed on the pole and at height of over 8 feet so that it is not at hands reach thereby discouraging vandalism.
11W CFL Luminary
  This is the light of the system which has the CFL of 11W. This comes in an attractive weather proof polycarbonate body and a high transparent chimney thereby minimizing the loss of lumen output. This also has the high efficiency electronics (Charge Controller cum Inverter) ensuring optimum usage of the
energy stored in the battery with all the necessary protections incorporated in it. This is the control circuit of the electricity produced from the solar panel and stored into the battery and then again used at the time of night. This system has a dusk to dawn controller i.e. it would automatically turn on when there is no sunlight in the night and automatically turn OFF when there is sunlight in the morning. Hardware
  The hardware is rest of the systems which is used in installing the system at the site. This includes GI Pole, Module Mounting Structure, Battery Box Mounting Frame, U Clamps, Grouting Rods, Nuts & Bolts etc.
Cable
  Suitable cable for connecting the components of the system i.e. the Solar PV Module, Battery & the Luminary
